Jeff Lane brings a quarter century of advertising and marketing experience to his work at BrandExtract. His concepts and copywriting have manifested in nearly every medium: print, broadcast, web, social media, PR, videos and direct mail.
“We believe in building brands that are distinct. Brands that are leaders. So a client’s brand voice need not borrow from industry lingo. It shouldn’t borrow at all. We don’t want the voice to sound like their industry. We want it to become the voice of their industry. Everything else is cliché.”
While at BE, Jeff has enjoyed his role in the rebranding of several innovative companies, including NUTECH and CompleteRx. Having helped provide each a new voice and reshape their core messages, he believes these clients are poised to make significant impacts on their respective industries.
Outside the office, Jeff is a co-founder and active member of the Christopher Williams Memorial Leadership Scholarship board, awarding scholarships to outstanding high school seniors for the past 20 years. Over the past decade, he has volunteered his time to develop marketing and fundraising materials—from newsletters and radio commercials to speeches and direct mail pieces—for a non-profit organization that provides counseling, training, emotional support and material assistance to women experiencing unplanned pregnancies.
