Malcolm has been at the forefront of new media in Houston since the mid 1990s. At BrandExtract, he encourages a user-centered approach to interactive design and has produced eminently usable and award-winning interactive media for a long list of clients.

Malcolm began his career as a print designer and professional musician after graduating with a bachelor’s in graphic communication from Southwest Texas State University.

Malcolm is a member of the Usability Professionals Association and has served on the curriculum advisory boards of the Art Institute of Houston and North Harris Community College.
