(HOUSTON) BrandExtract President Bo Bothe was honored as a featured entrepreneur at Houston Technology Center's (HTC) annual Celebration of Entrepreneurs gala last night. Featured honorees are recognized by HTC as some of Houston's leading entrepreneurs.
HTC serves as an incubator for emerging technology companies and was founded to enhance Houston's global image as one of the world's major technology innovation centers. This marks the second consecutive year that a BrandExtract executive has been singled out by HTC. Last year, BrandExtract CEO Jonathan Fisher was selected as a featured entrepreneur.
"It's an honor to be recognized as one of Houston's leading entrepreneurs by HTC, which is such a valuable resource for technology startups. We share a common vision of guiding growing companies," said Bothe.
BrandExtract is an award-winning integrated branding and communications firm that helps companies grow by providing strategic branding solutions, marketing, communications, advertising, print and interactive services. One of HTC's preferred service providers, BrandExtract serves as an advisor for HTC client presentations to help emerging technology firms test venture capital pitches and marketing presentations. BrandExtract has designed numerous marketing materials for HTC since its inception and, as in past years, designed this year's gala invitation and event program for the center.
"Entrepreneurship is important for our city's growth and it's entrepreneurs like Bo who drive economic diversity and create new jobs to ensure the future greatness of Houston," said Houston Technology Center President and CEO Walter Ulrich.
More than 400 business leaders and entrepreneurs attended the red-carpet fundraising event, which recognized 60 local entrepreneurs.
