The book is in bindery.
I’m back from Nashville and man what a trip. I’d like to thank Dennis and the guys at BindTech for the tour of their facility and the great work they’re doing on our coffee table book. I’d also like to thank Joanna Henry for all the hard work she and Emco Press have put into this. The book will be out officially in November but below are a couple hijacked pictures of the samples we got today. As a Jesuit alumni I believe that our designer Will and the team captured the history and workman-like spirit of the school. Can’t share too much but *spoiler alert* the foil stamping and special tip on plates for commemorative editions will be something to see.
During the trip, we got to meet with design students at Belmont University. Their professor, Dan Johnson, was my professor at the Texas Tech School of Visual Arts and a good friend. Will and I shared our experiences about design with them and had a great discussion. Go get ‘em guys.
I can’t wait to see the book unveiled on November 7th at Strake Jesuit.
