
You may call a “Coming Soon” page just a placeholder with not much value. However, if your new product or service’s website isn’t ready to be unveiled, or your application hasn’t launched yet, there is still a great opportunity to build buzz and velocity around it. If you can’t directly sign users up, what’s the next best thing? Record their visit AND their interest by getting their email address, and maybe a few select other pieces of information if you -really- need them. Your goal is to give them a way for you to get back in touch with them when you’re ready to pull back the curtain, but also give them additional ways to engage with your brand and get to know your company until that day comes.
