(HOUSTON) - BrandExtract Principal Bo Bothe co-chaired the AIGA-Houston design legends gala, which paid tribute to two local professionals and an engineering firm for their significant contributions to design. Bothe is past-president of AIGA-Houston and is a member of the current board.

Honored as 2006 Fellows were Cheryl Beckett and Chris Hill. Walter P Moore received the AIGA-Houston’s first Corporate Leadership Award.

Bothe, joined by co-chair Robin Tooms of Savage Design, president of AIGA-Houston, extolled the honorees’ dedication to the AIGA mission of furthering excellence in communication design by demonstrating the value of design to audiences outside of the profession through their work.

AIGA is the oldest and largest association of design professionals in the United States. It represents more than 16,000 designers through national activities and local programs developed by 48 chapters and more than 150 student groups.
