(Dallas) – Bo Bothe, Co-Managing Partner of BrandExtract, LLC and AIGA Houston board member spoke on “Keeping a Job” at the 5th Annual Design in the Fast Lane Student Conference at the Universities Center at Dallas.

Each year, the conference rotates between Houston, Dallas and Austin and attracts students from major universities in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. This year’s keynote was Michael Osborne from Michael Osborne Design in San Francisco, California. “The great part about the conference is that students have direct access to professionals and can pretty much talk about anything they want to know.” states Mr. Bothe, “It’s great to share experiences in this business, life as a designer is never dull.” The conference centers around topics such as “Landing your First Job” and “Balancing Life and Work.” Mr. Bothe spoke with other Houston designers including Douglas Timmermeyer of Savage Design Group, Inc. and former AIGA Houston president Dylan Moore of Dylan Moore Marketing and Design.

Next year’s conference will be located in Houston, TX and should draw an even greater crowd.
