HOUSTON, November 09, 2006 — BrandExtract, LLC captured the prestigious Best of Texas award at the 2006 BMA Lantern Awards of Texas competition and a Lantern for work the branding firm did for two of its clients.
"We're proud of our work and pleased that our branding efforts on behalf of our clients received such high honors from the Business Marketing Association (BMA) Houston Chapter," said BrandExtract Co-Managing Partner and Creative Director Bo Bothe.
BrandExtract's "Making Surgery Simpler" brand development project for Lone Star Medical Products not only won a Lantern, the top award in its category, it also won Best of Texas, the highest honor in the show. Lone Star Medical Products re-Brand included everything from marketing strategy to the execution of all new identity and marketing materials and was developed by designer Dann Snapp and writer Greg Giles.
"The materials BrandExtract developed not only have been helpful in creating business, they ultimately played a part in the recent sale of the company," stated Sean Self, president of Lone Star Medical Products., which was recently was purchased by Cooper Surgical Products for an undisclosed sum.
Another BrandExtract entry, "Today at Newfield I..." the firm's work for Newfield Exploration Company's recruiting efforts, won an award of excellence. The program developed by designers Issac Ayala and Will Cunningham is in its second year. A unique feature is that it is designed to be customized for each school the company visits.
"Newfield has given us every opportunity to help the company find the perfect candidates in a very tight employment market and we have delivered," said Jonathan Fisher, president of BrandExtract.
