BrandExtract Brings Home Gold and Silver at 2012 AAF ADDY Awards

HOUSTON − (March 1, 2012) — Houston brand experience firm, BrandExtract, LLC, brought home two gold ADDYs and one silver ADDY at the 50th Annual American Advertising Federation Houston Awards held Saturday evening.

The firm won ADDY awards for the following clients: 

  • Gold ADDY for Packaging: eVgo Founder's Kit 
  • Gold ADDY for Ad Club or Marketing Club: AAF-Houston Student Conference poster AAF-Houston 
  • Silver ADDY for Local Radio: David Taylor Cadillac: 60 “New Lady”

Radio was developed for David Taylor Cadillac to strategically attract new buyer segments who may have felt that leasing was out of reach for them. For more than six years, BrandExtract has collaborated with the dealership to build the brand and drive sales growth. Since taking over the account in 2005, BrandExtract has lead David Taylor’s brand and marketing, resulting in first or second market share ownership in Cadillac sales. 

As active leaders in the industry, BrandExtract supports the Houston Advertising Federation through committee and board participation as well as student mentorships. 2011 marked the second year that BrandExtract has helped position the student competition as a “must attend” event for colleges and universities in the Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana region. Results for attendance have surpassed goals and expectations. 

The AAF-Houston ADDY Awards was created 50 years ago to recognize Houston’s best creative work in the field of advertising. Gold and silver award winners automatically compete in the AAF District Ten competition to be held April 11-13, 2012, in Shreveport, La.
