BrandExtract Unleashes New Version of Wildly Popular Online ‘Cat Bowling’ Game

Cat Bowling ArtHOUSTON, October 08, 2008 — BrandExtract's lovable alley cats are lined up for another season of "Cat Bowling," the popular interactive game that draws players of all ages from around the world, which debuted today with new features and enhancements.

The free website, Halloween-themed online game tests players' skill at rolling a pumpkin to knock over 10 beguiling, animated cats. The game, introduced in 2001, has been a viral sensation, attracting millions of hits to the BrandExtract website each Fall.

"‘Cat Bowling' uses flash animation and creative design for a fun, easy game that has a legion of followers," said BrandExtract Director of Interactive Malcolm Wolter. "It's back by popular demand with a new version that retains all of the charm of the original, plus the addition of a scoreboard."

Each week in October, the high score will win "Cat Bowling" merchandise, which also is available for purchase through Cafe Press and the BrandExtract website.

The game follows traditional bowling, featuring 10 frames, and has been known to eerily mirror many players' real-life bowling ability or in other cases turn mediocre bowlers into first-time champions, Wolter said.
