BrandExtract Wins Seven 2008 American Graphic Design Awards, Three Entries Selected for December Design Annual

(Houston) Graphic Design USA magazine awarded seven of its 2008 American Graphic Design Awards to BrandExtract, LLC, an integrated branding and communications firm, for excellence in communication and graphic design.

For over 30 years, the awards program has acknowledged the outstanding work of creative professionals. American Graphic Design Awards honor outstanding work and across all media: print and collateral, advertising and sales promotion, corporate identity and logos, internet and interactive design, packaging and point-of-purchase, broadcast and motion graphics.

Out of more than 10,000 entries, only 15 percent are recognized for outstanding new design work. BrandExtract's award-winning work includes a branding program for Applied Diagnostics, stationery design for Full Tilt, a branding program for Data Projections Inc., a Literacy Advance of Houston brochure, a branding program for Clark Condon Associates, Rice University's view book, and an endowment brochure for The Branch School.

"Design is a key element of an effective brand. Our objective with each project is to reinforce the brand, grow the business, and enhance our clients' image. Graphic design serves as visual reinforcement of a company's identity," said BrandExtract's President and Chief Creative Officer Bo Bothe.

Three of the BrandExtract's pieces - Applied Diagnostics, Clark Condon and Rice University - will be published in Graphic Design USA's Design Annual, a 300-page edition published in December.
