HOUSTON, June 10, 2008 — BrandExtract, LLC performed an extensive brand audit for RigNet, Inc., a leading global provider of managed communications solutions for the upstream oil and gas industry, that revealed a need for a corporate rebrand and realignment under a streamlined umbrella brand.
BrandExtract revised the RigNet logo, recommended the company retire legacy subsidiary names and realign them under the RigNet umbrella brand. BrandExtract used its brand planning and development model to develop a positioning statement for RigNet and the tagline "Always Connected" to convey the unparalleled support customers receive to ensure they're always connected by reliable network solutions and communications systems.
"Based on our assessment and analysis of the RigNet brand, these adjustments will strengthen the brand in the marketplace while capitalizing on existing brand recognition and reputation," said BrandExtract Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Fisher.

As part of the rebranding effort, BrandExtract also created new stationery and upgraded tradeshow booth graphics to reflect the new look and feel. In addition, BrandExtract redesigned the RigNet website , enhanced navigation and expanded content. The end result is a site that showcases RigNet's network solutions and services.
