Director, User Experience
Cynthia Stipeche brings 20 years of expertise in design, user experience strategy, and information architecture to BrandExtract. She combines art, design and technology to craft innovative solutions and multi-dimensional digital experiences for our clients. Her past clients include an impressive assortment of B2B and B2C engagements such as AT&T, Mattel, LEGO, Warner Brothers, Minute Maid, Waste Management, and HBO.
“Behavior can’t lie. People will be people. And I will try to understand them.”
An artist at heart, Cynthia got her first taste of usability design while creating interactive kiosks and exhibit elements for the Museum of Natural Science in Houston. She quickly realized she had a passion for designing digital experiences. She joined a software company in Seattle where she gained an in-depth understanding of user experience design for large-scale corporate projects.
Next, Cynthia launched into the realm of Information Architecture with Compaq Computer Corporation before being offered the position of Creative Director at a boutique digital agency. Today, Cynthia combines all of her design and strategic talents to create integrated web experiences at BrandExtract.
Outside of work, Cynthia is a professor of digital design at the Houston School of Advertising where she shares her wealth of knowledge with emerging designers. She continues to enjoy painting and illustrating her own projects, and runs a blog called Drawing Table for One. Her most recent creative endeavor is a series of illustrated children’s posters that promote reading.
