An artist at heart, our Director of Brand Experience Cynthia balances analytical and creative thinking to create integrated brand experiences for our clients. Cynthia constantly stresses the importance of the user experience not only digitally, but throughout every brand touchpoint. A fact she passes on to her students whenever she teaches workshops or classes on design. Cynthia is always a joy to be around and makes everyone laugh. Cynthia Stipeche brings over 20 years of expertise in design, user experience strategy and information architecture to BrandExtract. She combines art, design and technology to craft innovative solutions and multi-dimensional digital experiences for our clients. Her past clients include an impressive assortment of B2B and B2C engagements such as AT&T, Mattel, LEGO, Warner Brothers, Minute Maid, Waste Management, HBO, Compaq Computer Corporation and the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
In a city full of transplants, Cynthia is one of those rare born-and-raised native Houstonians. With a degree in Graphic Communications from the University of Houston, she's won about every creative award possible – lots of ADDY awards, local, regional and national award for Miramax's "Frida" movie, a Promax Award for B2B marketing materials for The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers movie, plus numerous Lantern, Crystal, W3, and WebAwards for marketing materials/campaigns and web sites.
Outside of work, Cynthia occasionally works as an adjunct professor and teaches workshops on design at schools like the University of Houston and Rice University. She enjoys cooking, drawing, star gazing, saving animals, going to brunch, painting and illustrating her own projects and loves all things Art Deco and Mid Century Modern.
Fun facts about Cynthia: She designed a record album cover for Atlantic Records when she was in college and she knows how to saber a bottle of champagne.
