HOUSTON, May 07, 2008 — BrandExtract, LLC created a new brand identity system for Uson, a pioneer in the development of automated leak detection equipment, and then extended the "look and feel" into new product launches and sales materials, including Uson's Qualitek mR.
BrandExtract used its brand planning and development model in the development of a modernized logo for Uson, positioning statement and tagline-"For Good Measure"-which communicates to all of its audiences that Uson is the company to call on for top-notch service and superior product performance backed by a knowledgeable sales team.
"Uson has been at the forefront of leak detection, leak testing and non-destructive testing for 40 years. Our positioning analysis revealed that accuracy, delivery and up time through reliable leak and eddy current testing equipment is Uson's value proposition. ‘For Good Measure' conveys this unique brand promise," said BrandExtract President and Chief Creative Officer Bo Bothe.

As part of the branding effort, BrandExtract completed a redesign of Uson's website , including new organization, navigation systems, enhanced search functionality, a fresh "look and feel" and expanded content. BrandExtract's next-generation content management solution, SAM v2, provides a robust content management solution for Uson's new website. The end result is a site that showcases Uson's innovation and customized solutions.
BrandExtract has applied Uson's new brand to company stationery, a presentation folder, tradeshow booth banners, product data sheets and product brochures for the new Sprint iQ and the Qualitek mR. A highly configurable system, the Qualitek mR is the latest in generations of Qualitek leak testers by Uson. It combines the best features of previous Qualitek products into one efficient and easy-to-use tester for the inspection of gas control valves, plastic reservoirs, faucets, automotive lamps and components, packaging, and many other applications. To promote this remarkable new tester, BrandExtract created the special microsite www.qualitekontour.com and a direct mail package for customers around a common theme of "Qualitek On Tour" to mimic the worldwide tour kicked off by a hot band to promote a new album.
