"Simply Connected" tagline conveys company's unique brand promise
HOUSTON, April 28, 2008 — BrandExtract, LLC created a new brand identity system for Data Projections Inc., a leading audio/visual systems designer, using its BrandExtract brand planning and development model.
BrandExtract designed a modernized logo, a new look and feel for Data Projections' website and company materials, and a new tagline-"Simply Connected."
"Data Projections designs and integrates audio/visual systems for use in classrooms, corporate offices, and government agencies. Our positioning analysis revealed that making it easy for customers to connect with internal and external audiences through reliable audio/visual communication is Data Projections' value proposition. ‘Simply Connected' conveys this unique brand promise," said BrandExtract President and Chief Creative Officer Bo Bothe.

From our logo and tagline to our website, our customers now come away with one consistent message that conveys who Data Projections is and what we stand for. As part of the branding effort, BrandExtract completed a redesign of Data Projections' website, including new organization, navigation systems, enhanced search functionality, a fresh "look and feel" and expanded content. BrandExtract's next-generation content management solution, SAM v2, provides a robust content management solution for Data Projections' new website. The end result is a site that showcases Data Projections' innovation and customized solutions.
Founded with “doing the right thing” as a core priority, both in business and the community, Houston brand experience firm BrandExtract LLC organized its quarterly service day with Special Cheers, a local non-profit that provides vital therapeutic services to children with physical, emotional and developmental challenges.
On September 26, 2014, the BE team gathered at the Special Cheers ranch to volunteer for much-needed grounds and maintenance work, including clearing brush and sanding and caulking the facility to prepare for a fresh coat of paint.
Throughout the course of the day, our team truly transformed the grounds. The repairs will allow Special Cheers to continue to create meaningful change in the lives of developmentally challenged children and their families as well as pursue additional growth opportunities and certifications.
After a full morning of volunteering, the team returned to the BrandExtract office for our third annual chili cook-off event. A total of ten chili recipes entered the taste test arena this year, vying for the coveted “Best Overall” award. Associate Creative Director Greg Giles took home the grand prize for the third consecutive year, while Senior Designer Abbey Mora’s recipe won “Most Creative” and Senior Developer John Lafitte was awarded spiciest brew.
Our quarterly service day is also an occasion to recognize an outstanding employee, nominated by their fellow team members, with the Big Head Award. The award acknowledges exceptional initiative, innovation, superior results, client service excellence, or exemplary teamwork. BrandExtract congratulates this quarter’s winner, Jesse Cruze.
