BrandExtract, LLC, an integrated branding and communications firm, introduced the new brand identity for Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory School of Houston last night in preparation for the high school's August opening. Cristo Rey Jesuit, which will open the door to education opportunity for low-income students, is the newest Jesuit high school in Houston and the first co-ed Jesuit high school in the Jesuit Southern Province.
BrandExtract's work included developing the Cristo Rey brand position, the tagline "Houston's Future at Work," logo, school crest and elevator pitch, and crafting the mission statement as well as marketing and fundraising materials.
The Cristo Rey Jesuit logo conveys both the spiritual and self-empowerment aspects of the school through a visual connection of the sun representing the light of Christ with a cross as a symbol of faithful followers of Christ.
"Cristo Rey Jesuit's brand is about transformation of self, spirit and community. Not only does the school serve as a leader to its students and in the community, but it also teaches its students the skills they need to become leaders themselves and make smart life decisions. The launch of its new identity signifies the new opportunities and hope for a bright future that Cristo Rey offers its students," said BrandExtract President Bo Bothe.
"BrandExtract has the rare ability to both inspire and direct creativity in a way that helps us strategically realize our business goals in a way that remains true to our mission. It is not an overstatement to say that without BrandExtract we would not have the reputation and success we are now enjoying," said Father T.J. Martinez.
Logo and identity development is part of the comprehensive branding and communications services that BrandExtract provides to clients in a variety of industries to help companies grow.
