Marathon Once Again Taps BrandExtract to Highlight Its Brand
HOUSTON, October 12, 2007 — BrandExtract LLC, an award-winning branding and integrated communications firm providing marketing communications, advertising, print and interactive services, today announced it has completed the redesign of Marathon Oil Corporation's website.
BrandExtract developed Marathon's previous website four year ago and the company was successfully using BrandExtract's content management tool. BrandExtract was awarded the project because of its Web development planning and process, usability expertise and easy-to-use content management tool.

The scope of the redesign encompassed a new organization, navigation systems, enhanced search functionality, a fresh "look and feel," and expanded content. The end result is a site that presents the human side of Marathon with higher visibility given to its high standards of community and environmental performance.
BrandExtract's next-generation content management solution, SAM v2, provides a robust content management solution for the site.
